If you’re like me, you threw away your planner mid-April. Then closed your blackout curtains in your bedroom, turned off the alarms on your phone, and slept until 2 pm. You’re unemployed! WHO CARES? I never thought I’d start and finish a Netflix series in one day. That’s a big accomplishment! So if you did this too, BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!

Why You Can’t Stand 2020

You wanted to challenge yourself more. You didn’t get that promotion at work because they laid you off instead. You couldn’t jump back into the dating pool because COVID-19 contaminated it, but yet people were falling in love from rooftops in Brooklyn (check it out for yourself). You didn’t get to go on that vacation you planned two years ago, or better yet, your dream wedding has been put on hold indefinitely.

Maybe you lost a loved one from this horrible virus, or you’re in the entertainment and/or hospitality industry and don’t know what the hell to do. And there’s a chance you’re on the verge of another breakdown from reading this “breakdown.” Depression is real, and so is anxiety. And everything you’re feeling is valid. DO NOT FORGET THAT.
