I know what you’re thinking. What is this? Another gluten-free bagel that’s the size of an Oreo cookie and drier than the Sahara desert? Not today folks! Or EVER for that matter. Why? Because of Michael Werrell. He’s a trained pastry chef who’s bringing gluten-free goods all over Nashville and calling it glootn. He not only specializes in pastries, desserts, and baked goods, but he also lives a gluten-free lifestyle. So you know you’re getting a product that’s been strategically tested and worth every bite! What’s so different about these bagels? Like regular bagels, these are boiled in water, which allows for that chewy texture. Moist, bouncy, and doughy, are words that lingered in my brain as I took my first bite. Most gluten-free bagels I’ve had have me reaching for something to wash it down with. Not with these. So flavorful and delicious! It breaks easily, squishes well enough to dip into butter (if you’re like me), and has a yummy crust on the outside.
